Glufosinate-P-Ammonium Active Herbicide
Powered by Glu-L™ Technology
For Row Crops

Glufosinate-P-ammonium, also referred to as L-glufosinate ammonium, is an advanced active ingredient herbicide powered by the latest glufosinate innovation, Glu-L technology, which reduces product bulk and increases weed control efficacy, operational efficiency and sustainability.

Key Features and Benefits of Glufosinate-P-Ammonium

Features

  • Powered by the advanced glufosinate, Glu-L technology
  • Concentrated formulation

Benefits

  • Increased efficacy: Provides greater performance on broadleaf weeds and grasses over tested competitive generic glufosinate products
  • Increased efficiency: Reduces trucking, fuel and storage costs and provides more efficient product handling during application
  • More sustainable: Reduces the amount of product applied to control weeds

The Science Behind Glufosinate-P-Ammonium

Most glufosinate products are racemic mixture herbicides containing both the herbicidally active L-isomer and the inactive D-isomer. The patented Glu-L technology process converts the D-isomer portion of the glufosinate molecule into the herbicidally active L-isomer through a series of enzymatic reactions. This makes the L-glufosinate, also known as glufosinate-P, enriched herbicide significantly more efficient while providing increased levels of weed control at lower use rates.
