BASF Agricultural Solutions has begun the registration process for Replexor™ Active (fendioxypyracil), a novel herbicide active ingredient from its protoporphyrinogen oxidase (PPO) innovation pipeline with broad-spectrum activity on both broadleaf weeds and grasses. 

Adapzo^® Active, BASF Agricultural Solutions’ latest fungicide innovation, was designated a new and distinct mode of action by the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC). Chemically known as flufenoxadiazam, the active ingredient is the industry’s first histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor and the sole representative of the newly established “FRAC Group Code 56”.

BASF Agricultural Solutions has successfully commissioned its BioHub, a new fermentation plant for biological and biotechnology-based crop protection products, at the Ludwigshafen site.

BASF’s vegetable seeds business, part of BASF Agricultural Solutions, announced a 40 million euro investment in the modernization and expansion of its seed processing facilities at its headquarters in Nunhem, Netherlands.
