Electricity consumption in relation to fuel consumption so far plays a minor role for most farming practices. This may change in future when more and more farming practices are digitalized.

For most farms electricity is needed for irrigation pumps or in case greenhouse gases are warmed with electrical heating. All other machinery usually is working on fuel consumption.
