Urban & Rural Pest Control Public Health Diseases

Facing the world’s public health challenges

Vector-borne disease is one of the biggest barriers to development and prosperity in the developing world, killing millions of people each year. The fact that many of the victims are children under the age of five only ensures that future generations will continue to be disadvantaged.

BASF understands that these diseases are largely preventable and we’re committed to taking an active role in their control and eradication. Through our global partnerships, our products are used to control vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, Guinea worm disease and yellow fever in Africa and many other regions where these diseases are endemic.
