Our industry's commitment to data transparency

Crop protection industry committed to more public access to safety data submitted in regulatory process

In March 2018, CropLife International and its member companies, like BASF, have made a global, voluntary commitment to enable more public access to safety data related to its crop protection products.

CropLife International member companies – the world’s leading manufacturers of crop protection products – recognize that they play an important role in making crop protection safety data more easily accessible to the public to provide greater transparency. Access to safety data for non-commercial purposes will be provided by the individual member companies according to their own protocols.

CropLife International and its members are further committed to continue to proactively engage in conversations with all stakeholders to explain the existing regulatory process and the safety, efficacy and benefits of crop protection products. Learn more about on the dedicated CropLife International website.
