Forum® fungicide provides systemic security in combatting downy mildew in hops and vegetables.
Forum® contains dimethomorph (DMM), an active ingredient that disrupts cell wall formation in multiple developmental stages of downy mildew (Peronospora). DMM has a long-lasting contact effect, and also penetrates deep into the treated parts of the plant, where it spreads. This catches the fungus in the early developmental stages after infection (1-2 days). A particularly sustainable effect is achieved by the antisporulant activity, which interrupts the reproductive cycle of the Peronospora and suppresses the further spread of spores. Overall, Forum® therefore provides lasting protection independent of the weather.
